    (TORRINGTON,Conn./WTIC News) – Torrington Police have arrested a 28 year old local man in connection with the stabbing of a woman in front of 62 French Street Tuesday.
    Police responded to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital for a woman in her early 30’s with a stab wound to the neck and lacerations to her hands.
    Luis Camacho-Ramirez was charged with Assault in the First Degree, Risk of Injury to a Minor and Breach of Peace.

    NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.  — Authorities say three people are dead after a small helicopter crashed into a home near a Southern California airport.
    Two other people were injured when the Robinson R44 smashed into the side of the home in Newport Beach at about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.
    Newport Beach fire Capt. Chip Duncan says it’s unclear whether the three people who were killed were on board the four-seat chopper.

    TORRINGTON —  28-year-old Luis Camacho-Ramirez was arrested for allegedly stabbing a woman in her neck and her hands Tuesday.
    Torrington police said they responded to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital on reports of a woman in her 30s suffering from a stab wound to the neck and lacerations to her hands.

  • Middlefield man charged with sexual assault of a minor

    MIDDLEFIELD — Police arrested a Middlefield man and charged him in connection with the sexual assault of a minor.
    Roland Kohl, 59, was charged with sexual assault of a victim between the ages of 13 and 15, in the second degree, liquor sales to minors, and sexual contact with a victim under 16-years-old.
    He was arrested on Monday and held on a $250,000 bond. He was scheduled to appear in court on February 14.
    The warrant in the case was sealed.
