    STAMFORD — A Connecticut man has pleaded guilty to reduced charges for an assault that left a 2-year-old girl blind in one eye.
    The Stamford Advocate reports 32-year-old Pedro Salinas, of Norwalk, Connecticut, pleaded guilty Tuesday to first-degree assault, fourth-degree sexual assault and two felony counts of risk of injury to a minor.
    He faces four years in jail and 20 years of probation at his March sentencing. Salinas is a convicted sex offender.
