Two children were taken to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center as a precaution to be examined for smoke inhalation.

  • Police investigating possible armed suspect in North Haven

    NORTH HAVEN — Police are searching for a wanted suspect who they say may be armed.
    North Haven police said there is a large police presence in the Upper State Street area near Hartford Turnpike and people are asked to avoid the area.
    Anyone who may see something suspicious is asked to call 911.
