    (HAMDEN,Conn./WTIC News) – An investigation into a sexual assault complaint in August in Hamden has resulted in the arrest of a teen.Police say the investigation revealed a 14 year old sexually assaulted a victim under 10 years old.
    The teen was arrested Tuesday and charged with Sexual Assault in the First Degree and Risk of Injury to a Minor.
    The accused is scheduled to appear in Juvenile Court in Bridgeport on January 9th.

    NEW HAVEN —  State police said they have located a suspect who was involved in a two vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon.
    State police said they found Christopher Villot, 21, of New Haven who was wanted following a search in connection to the crash. Police said around 12:19 p.m., Villot was driving northbound on Route 10 (Ella T. Grasso Boulevard) approaching the intersection with Route 34 (Derby Avenue).

    WEST HAVEN —  Police said a man is on the run following an accident in the area of Boston Post Road and Marginal Drive Tuesday afternoon.
    West Haven police said they attempted to stop a vehicle which then fled north on Ella Grasso Boulevard, and crashed into another vehicle near Ella Grasso Boulevard and Derby Avenue.
    Injuries have been reported to the occupants of the two vehicles, police said.
    The evading operator fled the scene on foot and police are still attempting to locate him.

    HOLLYWOOD —  More than 50 years after her star turn in “The Sound of Music,” actress Heather Menzies Urich has died of brain cancer, her son told CNN. She was 68 years old.
    Menzies Urich played Louisa von Trapp in the classic 1965 movie, alongside six other “von Trapp children.”

    (CBS Connecticut) — One person is dead after a crash this afternoon.
    State Police Trooper Kelly Grant says a vehicle went off of Route 6 in Hampton.
    “At 465 Hartford Turnpike, also known as Route 6 in Hampton, troopers and EMS responded to a pickup truck versus house [collision],” Grant said.
