    BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) _ A Connecticut zoo is welcoming the addition of two tiger cubs.
    Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport said Monday that its 10-year-old Amur tiger, Changbai, gave birth Nov. 25 to four tiger cubs but only two survived. The surviving female cubs were removed from Changbai when she showed no interest in taking care of them.
    The 2-week-old cubs are in seclusion in the zoo hospital. The cubs are being hand fed five times a day.

    ATLANTA, GA (WGCL) — More than $400 million are up for grabs this week as the Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots have rolled over a combined 29 times.

    NEW LONDON — New London Police say they’ve arrested Patrick McInerney, 43, of New London, in connection with a fatal stabbing.

    (CBS Connecticut) — New London Police make a quick arrest in a deadly stabbing that was reported a few hours ago on Tilley Street.
    Officers found a man stabbed in the upper chest lying on the steps of the second floor of a building at 39 Tilley Street shortly after 8:30 pm Sunday.
