    BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (CBS Connecticut and AP) – A Connecticut woman won’t serve any more time behind bars for her involvement in the sex trafficking of a teenager who was tattooed with a bar code to show that she was property.
    Neshaya Dozier was sentenced Wednesday to the nine months she spent in federal prison and the seven months she has lived in a reintegration facility since her arrest.
    Dozier pleaded guilty to a sex trafficking charge in September.

    SHELTON, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – Shelton police have identified the 27-year-old man who was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday evening on Bridgeport Avenue.
    Police say Bethapudi Naga Tulasi Ram was a native of India, living in Waterbury and studying at the University of Bridgeport.

    SIMSBURY, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – Simsbury police say a school bus with 17 children on it was one of four vehicles involved in a crash on Route 185 Wednesday morning.
