    HARTFORD—This year’s Thanksgiving day travel period is expected to be the busiest in more than a decade, according to AAA.

    (WTIC-AM) — Manslaughter charges have now been lodged against a Waterbury teenager accused of killing a 3-year-old boy in a traffic crash.
    According to police court paperwork, officers had been conducting surveillance on 18-year-old Zekhi Lee, because they suspected he was involved in drug sales.
    He was misusing a license plate, and he lacked a driver’s license.

    A healthcare system with facilities in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and Idaho announced it has fired 69 employees who refused to get a flu shot, according to FOX9.

    DETROIT  — A person with knowledge of the agreement says a former Michigan State University and USA Gymnastics doctor will plead guilty to multiple charges of sexual assault and face at least 25 years in prison.
    The person was not authorized to publicly discuss the agreement ahead of a Wednesday court hearing and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.

    (Waterbury, CONN./ CBS Connecticut)– Two people are dead after their car crashed in Waterbury early Wednesday morning.
    The crash occurred in the 500 block of Wolcott Street around 12:15 am. Deputy Police Chief Fernando Spagnuolo says a house nearby was damaged, but no one inside was hurt. There are scattered power outages in the area.
    Wolcott Street from the 600 Block to Harper Avenue will be closed off by police as they investigate. The vehicle was not being pursued by police.

    WATERBURY -- Police say they are investigating a double fatal crash in Waterbury.
    The crash happened around midnight near 560 Wolcott Street.
    When officers arrived, they found two people from the car dead on arrival.
    The car apparently hit a pole then a house.
    There is damage to utilities, and need to repair the gas line. There are power outages in the area.
