    HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — The case of a former Connecticut farm manager who was found guilty of neglecting a herd of goats is heading to an appeals court next month.

    DERBY – State police say a suspected drunk driver is responsible for a wrong-way crash that sent one man to the hospital.
    Michael Mansi of Seymour was traveling south on Route 8 near exit 15 about 10 p.m. on Friday night, when he saw a car coming at him the wrong way. He swerved, but the two vehicles still collided.     (New London, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – New London authorities are investigating an early morning fire in the city.
    A little after 5:00 a.m., the officers answering an alarm at a Colman Street Taco Bell noticed flames shooting through the roof and a heavy smoke condition.
    The fire ended up going to two alarms.
