    (Bristol, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – A man is dead after an early morning crash in Bristol.
    Police say they began receiving 911 calls around 6:45 a.m. about the crash on Middle Street.
    Investigators say the motorcycle operator, 45-year-old William Tillotson of Bristol, collided with a Toyota Tacoma that was turning into a gas station parking lot at the time.

  • Arson Detectives Probe Hartford Fire

    HARTFORD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – Hartford police arson detectives are investigating a fire on Gillette Street that broke out early Friday morning, said Deputy Police Chief Brian Foley.
    The multi-family home at 9 Gillette was vacant when the fire broke out shortly before 4:30 a.m., said authorities.
    The fire went to two alarms before it was extinguished.
