  LITCHFIELD  — Police say a Torrington man faces charges for his role in a fireworks explosion that caused a man to lose part of his arm last year. The Republican-American reports  28-year-old William Brookshire was arraigned Friday on charges of illegal possession of fireworks and other offenses. • Frontier outage leaves some homes in Norfolk unable to call 911

  NORFOLK — Heads up Norfolk! 176 homes have been affected by a Frontier Communications outage. The outage left the houses without the ability to place phone calls, including 911. They also won’t have internet access. Frontier says they are aware of the problem as is the local dispatch center, Litchfield County Dispatch. The Norfolk Emergency Management says they haven’t recieved an ETA on restoration and suggest residents use their cell phones if you need to call 911.

  MILFORD — Milford police say they’re investigating an untimely death. They say an unresponsive male was found on Forest Road near Post Road around 11 p.m. Saturday night. Police are describing him as a white male, 6’2″, around 250 lbs. Police have no released any additional details about the man.   (BERLIN,Conn./CBS Connecticut) – State Police Central District Major Crime Squad is investigating after a person was found dead at the Days Inn Motel at 2387 Berlin Turnpike in Berlin.The discovery was made around 3:30 Sunday morning.
