    Wallingford Man  Charged With Public Indecency
    (HAMDEN,Conn./CBS Connecticut) -Department of Energy and Environmental Protection EnCon Police have arrested a 57 year old Wallingford man after receiving two reports of a man exposing himself and hiking naked in Sleeping Giant State Park in Hamden on April 1 and April 9.
    Antony Ingraham was charged with two counts of Public Indecency.He was released on $10,000 bond. Ingraham has a June 19 date in Meriden Superior Court.

    HARTFORD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut and AP) – Connecticut lawmakers have overwhelmingly passed what advocates believe is the strongest hate crimes legislation in the nation.
    Democratic and Republican senators said they hope Tuesday’s unanimous vote sends a strong message to the rest of the country that bigotry will not be tolerated in Connecticut.
    The bill already cleared the House of Representatives and heads to the governor.

    Child Found Dead In Torrington
    (Torrington, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Police in Torrington say they’re investigating the untimely death of a 15-month-old child.
    The 911 call came in just before 11:00 this morning to a home on South Main Street police said.
    A woman told them her son was unresponsive and needed help.
    Police and first responders arrived and the child was rushed to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital where he later died.
    According to investigators, it appears the child was found unresponsive in the bathtub.

    Under arrest is 27-year-old Brett Vernona, who turned himself in at the Troop H barracks in Hartford today.

    HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) – A Connecticut prosecutor has ruled that the death of an attorney found shot in the head in a wrecked car in 2014 was not a homicide as his family believes and has closed the criminal investigation.

    SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (AP) — A 68-year-old Southington man has been charged with animal cruelty after several witnesses tell police he intentionally ran over a family of geese.
    Police say Thomas Guerrette was driving his pickup truck Friday when he ran over geese attempting to cross the street.

    Air Force Member Charged With Sexual Assault Pleads Guilty
    HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — A man accused in Connecticut of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl he met online while he was in the U.S. Air Force has pleaded guilty in federal court.
    Nicholas Murphy, of Exeter, Rhode Island, has pleaded guilty to one count of traveling to engage in illegal sexual activity with a minor Monday.
    Court documents show Murphy started communicating with the girl through social media.
