    2 Dead In Lebanon Crash
    (Lebanon, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Two people were killed in a Friday afternoon crash in the town of Lebanon.
    State Police say a vehicle traveling east on Kick Hill Road just after 2:30 veered over the westbound lane and hit several trees in the shoulder.
    The car, a 2011 Hyundai Sonata, wound up on its roof.
    The three people inside were ejected from the vehicle.
    Troopers say 42-year-old Alejandro Rentas and 43-year old Levorio Guerrio of The Bronx, New York died.

    Riders Honoring Newtown Victims Due Sunday
    NEWTOWN, Conn. (AP) – A team of 26 bicyclists is set to arrive in Newtown this weekend, putting a new twist on an annual ride to honor the victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting.
    The riders have peddled from Newtown to Washington D.C. every year since the shooting at the elementary school to push for national gun control legislation.
    This year the riders, one for every victim, have decided to do the ride in reverse.
    They are set to arrive in Newtown on Sunday.

    Archdiocese To Discuss Parish Reorganization
    (Hartford, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Details have been released on a plan to reorganize the Hartford Archdiocese.
    Ahead of a Sunday news conference, the plan is for the Archdiocese to reduce to 127, the number of parishes, down from the current 212.
    In a statement, the Archdiocese says 68 parishes will remain as is and 59 will merge.
    Those mergers would involve unions of anywhere from two-to-six parishes apiece.

    NEW YORK (AP) _ Mets catcher Travis d’Arnaud was placed on the 10-day disabled list Friday with a bruised right wrist, the latest setback for a New York team beset by several key injuries already this season.

    School Bus Crashes In West Hartford
    (WEST HARTFORD,Conn./CBS Connecticut)  – A school bus carrying  students from the Hebrew High School of New England  rear-ended a passenger vehicle on Simsbury  Road in West Hartford  shortly before  3  o’ clock  Friday afternoon.
    The driver of the vehicle  rear-ended  complained of neck pain. No students were injured.Both  vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

    (WESTBROOK,Conn./CBS Connecticut)  –  The search continues for the man who robbed the Key Bank at  1238 Boston Post Road in Westbrook Friday afternoon.
    The suspect entered the bank shortly after  4:30 and implied he had a weapon, but none was displayed.He fled with an undetermined amount of cash.He may have fled in a gray SUV type vehicle parked behind an adjacent business.

    (WATERBURY,Conn./CBS Connecticut)  –  Waterbury Police   have charged a  local man  they say fled the scene after striking a  pedestrian Thursday night on Cooke Street.47 year old Alton Staton of Waterbury was crossing  Cooke Street  near Gordon Street when he was struck.Staton was then struck by another car and dragged down the street, before breaking free.
