    Self Serve Liquor Machines Could Be In Offing
    HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) – Self-service liquor machines may soon be coming to a Connecticut bar near you.
    The House of Representatives voted 129-19 Wednesday in favor of legislation allowing businesses with state liquor permits to offer automated machines that dispense beer and wine to customers.
    The bill now awaits action in the Senate.
    Under the proposal, a person verified to be at least 21 years old can purchase a payment card and then obtain up to 32 ounces of beer or 10 ounces of wine.

    PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ Yoenis Cespedes hit three of New York’s seven homers to back Matt Harvey, and the Mets beat the Philadelphia Phillies 14-4 Tuesday night.
    Harvey (2-0) left with tightness in his left hamstring after allowing two runs and five hits and striking out six in 5 2/3 innings.
    Phillies starter Clay Buchholz (0-1) also exited because of an injury, a strained right forearm. He gave up six runs and eight hits in 2 1/3 innings.
