    PIERRE PART, La. – A Louisiana man is behind bars after mistakenly texting a sheriff’s deputy while trying to arrange a methamphetamine deal, according to the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office.     Teenager Rescued In Cromwell After Fall Into Frozen Pond
    (CBS Connecticut) — A teenager fell through the ice and into a pond on Hicksville Road in Cromwell today.
    Firefighter E-M-T Jeremy Hiriak says the teen was in a dangerous situation, in the water up to his shoulders and holding on to the ice.
    “I put the cold water rescue suit on, and slid out to him, and I was able to help him get out of the water, onto the ice, and to shore,” Hiriak said.
    The teenager was cold and scared when he was rescued.  He was taken to the hospital.

    (Waterbury, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Police have released the names of two people killed in a Tuesday morning crash.
    They have been identified as Adolfo Villar and Bonnie Moore, both 64 years of age and both from Waterbury.
    The crash occurred on Route 69 near the Prospect town line around 7:30 a.m.
