  HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) – The Connecticut Supreme Court plans to hear appeals of two convicted killers who were sentenced to lethal injection before the courtabolished the state’s death penalty.

  State Police say around 3 a.m., Willimantic officers received word of a disturbance in the area of 38 Pulaski Court.
  Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from life threatening injuries.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

   WATERBURY, Conn. (AP) _ A Connecticut electroplating company employee whose exposure to cyanide prompted the emergency decontamination of a hospital has died.
  It’s unclear how 38-year-old Norbert Claro died Friday. Police tell the Waterbury Republican-American an autopsy and toxicology tests are pending.
  Claro was an employee of American Electro Products in Waterbury. Authorities say the company uses cyanide in some of its processes.
