    The incident occurred October 24 when 25-year-old Akeem Whitley was found on the nearby Ferry Street bridge with leg and stomach wounds.
    Thirty-one-year-old Labian McKnight was found in the doorway of the station suffering from shoulder and back wounds.

    Police ID Man Found Dead In River
    (New Haven, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Police in New Haven have released the name of a man whose body was found Tuesday in the Quinnipiac River.
    They say the man is 59-year-old Gary Crawford of New Haven.
    His body was spotted by a bridge tender just east of the Grand Avenue railroad bridge, according to police.
    So far, there’s no word on a cause of death.
    Crawford’s body has been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
