    Two people were injured when their vehicle went down an embankment on Wolf Creek Pass early Saturday morning.
    Cpl. Ivan  Alvarado of the Colorado State Patrol said officers got word of the accident at 3:46 a.m. He said the vehicle was 300 feet to 400 feet down the side of U.S. 160 in southwest Colorado

    A pedestrian, in the westbound lanes of the West 6th Avenue freeway, was killed when hit by a vehicle on Friday night in Lakewood.
    The incident happened at about 6:50 p.m. near Wadsworth Boulevard, police said. Westbound lanes of the highway were shut down because of the fatal collision.
    The driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene and cooperated with investigators, police said. It’s unclear why the pedestrian, who died at the scene, was on the freeway. He was not identified.

    DENVER (CBS4) – A non-profit that has helped hundreds of Coloradans lower their medical bills now needs help itself. The Colorado Consumer Health Initiative’s Consumer Assistance Program is in danger of folding if it doesn’t receive more donations.
