    FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Gian Clavell hit five 3-pointers and finished with 28 points, both season highs, and Colorado State pulled away in the second half for an 85-58 win over Air Force on Saturday to give Coach Larry Eustachy his 500th career victory.
    Prentiss Nixon added 20 points, including four 3s, while Anthony Bonner scored 11. Emmanuel Omogbo had 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting, 10 rebounds and a career-best five assists.

    OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Thunder guard Cameron Payne is making his season debut Saturday night against the Denver Nuggets.
    A Thunder spokesman confirmed the move in a text message.
    Payne fractured a bone in his right foot during the Blue-White Scrimmage in September, before the preseason. He had previously broken the bone and had surgery in July. He elected not to have surgery again.

    Jury Convicts Man Accused Of Concealing Victim In A Barrel
    BRIDGEPORT, Neb. (AP) — A Nebraska man accused of killing another man and hiding his body in a barrel has been found guilty of first-degree murder.
    The Nebraska Attorney General’s office says in a statement that a jury on Friday convicted 25-year-old Zachary Mueller, of Bridgeport.
    Mueller was accused of shooting 33-year-old Pedro Adrian Dominguez, of Greeley, Colorado, in the back of the head while riding in a car in Bridgeport on Nov. 22, 2015.

    2 People Safe After Plane Makes Forced Landing
    RIFLE, Colo. (AP) — Two people are safe after a small plane made a forced landing near McGinnis Lake in Garfield County.
    The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office says the two people alerted authorities on Saturday and were talking with other aircraft after the accident.
    Both people were picked up by a helicopter and there was no one else on board.
    Authorities say the cause of the forced landing was under investigation.

    Man Found Dead In The Snow Near His Home
    BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – Authorities in Boulder County found a man’s body in the snow next to a sidewalk near a trailer park Saturday morning.
    According to Sgt. Andy Smith with the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, the 67-year-old man was found in the 4400 block of Broadway just after 6:30 a.m.
    Deputies didn’t find anything suspicious at the scene. The coroner will determine the cause of death.

    BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)– The City of Boulder plans to remove 121 ash treesthat were affected by the Emerald Ash Borer.

    Taden Jones, 19, took a plea deal at the Arapahoe County Courthouse in Centennial. Jones was drovomg when he struck and killed Carolyn Burton and Gayle Buckwalter in April 2016 in a drunk driving crash. The plea could land Jones in prison for up to 24 years.

    DENVER (CBS4)– Denver is making changes to its Treecycle program this year.
    Trees can be put out on the mornings of Jan. 7 or Jan. 14 or dropped off at Cherry Creek Recycling Drop-Off. Trees will be picked up over the weekends.
