• Passenger Van Crash Injures 14 People In Lancaster

  LANCASTER (CBSLA) — A two-vehicle crash in Lancaster Saturday left 14 people injured, including four critically, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
  Two people had to be extricated from the wreckage.
  The accident happened in the area of 60th Street West and Avenue F.
  One of the vehicles is described as a passenger van.

  BOYLE HEIGHTS (CBSLA) — One person was killed and two others critically injured in a multi-vehicle traffic accident on the westbound Santa Monica Freeway transition to the southbound Golden State Freeway in Boyle Heights.
  Firefighters found multiple patients with various injuries, including two people who were critically injured and had to be cut out of the wreckage. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

  LAGUNA NIGUEL (CBSLA) — A Freon leak Saturday morning prompted the evacuation of a Costco Wholesale in Laguna Niguel.
  Firefighters responded about 4:15 a.m. to the store, located at 27220 Heather Ridge, and detected the leak within the building and evacuated everyone inside, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
  A HazMat team was preparing to enter the store to confirm no one was still inside, the OCFA said.
  There was no threat to surrounding neighborhoods, the OCFA said.
