    LOS ANGELES (CBSLA/AP) — Thousands of demonstrators are expected to take to the streets of downtown Los Angeles for the third annual Women’s March Saturday.

  • Arrest Made In Deadly 210 Freeway Hit-And-Run

    RANCHO CUCAMONGA (CBSLA) — An arrest has been made in a deadly hit-and-run crash on the 210 Freeway Friday night.
    The accident occurred near Hermosa Avenue on the westbound 210 at Archibald just after 7:35 p.m.
    The CHP was looking for a female driver but it remains unclear if that person was arrested.

    PERRIS (CBSLA) — A fire killed at least two people in a Perris home Saturday morning.
    Flames broke out at the two-story residence on the 140 block of Portrait Rd. just after 2 a.m.
    Firefighters say two people jumped to safety and were rushed to the hospital but have since been released.

    LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — Bargaining teams from the union representing striking Los Angeles teachers and officials with the Los Angeles Unified School District had a second consecutive productive day of contract negotiations, according to an official with Mayor Eric Garcetti’s office, which is facilitating the negotiations.

    RANCHO CUCAMONGA (CBSLA) —  A deadly hit-and-run accident was reported in Rancho Cucamonga Friday evening, authorities said.

  • Standoff In Sherman Oaks Ends With Homeowner Turning Gun On Himself

    SHERMAN OAKS CBSLA) —  Police said a Sherman Oaks man described as “troubled” took his own life during a standoff Friday.
    Police responded to a shots fired call in the 4600 block of Burnet Avenue around 3:30 p.m., authorities said.

    HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA) — Firefighters on Friday freed a horse who was somehow trapped in a garbage dumpster.
    The dumpster was located near some stables.
    Firefighters lifted the horse out of the dumpster using a forklift.
