  BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A Buffalo man will spend the next three years and five months in prison after he lied to protect a drug dealer whose fentanyl killed a victim in 2019, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced.
  Roman Lapp, 50, provided heroin/fentanyl/acetyl fentanyl to an individual after he obtained it from Steven Gonzalez in June 2019. The individual took the drugs, overdosed and died.

(WIVB) — A Depew man faces charges of robbery and criminal possession of a weapon after he allegedly robbed the same Kwik Mart on French Road in Cheektowaga three times in two days, Cheektowaga police said Thursday.Police said an employee of the store called to report a robbery with a gun just before 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
