  WASHINGTON (AP) — Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Friday overrode a plea agreement reached earlier this week for the accused mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and two other defendants, reinstating them as death penalty cases.

• US postal worker robbed in Hamburg

  BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A U.S. postal worker was robbed of their USPS key Friday, according to Town of Hamburg Police.
  Police said the incident occurred around 11 a.m. on McKinley Parkway near Newtown Road, where the suspect displayed a knife. A USPS key that accesses mailboxes and drop boxes in Hamburg was taken.
