  BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- Four people were taken into custody in connection with the robbery of a 25-year-old man Saturday, according to Hamburg police.
  According to officials, the man allegedly went to a Motel 6 on Camp Road at 2:30 a.m. to meet up with a woman he had met earlier at a Depew bar. Two men in ski masks allegedly pointed a firearm at him as he entered the hotel room and took his personal belongings. Police said the men repeatedly punched the man before fleeing the scene.

  BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A Buffalo man was sentenced to over 20 years in prison Monday in connection with a 2023 shooting that left one man dead and another injured, the Erie County District Attorney's Office announced.
  Just before 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 5, 30-year-old Jerry Simpson shot and killed 37-year-old Jermaine Underwood with an illegal gun on the 900 block of Kensington Avenue. The second victim, a 31-year-old man, sustained injuries to his legs. He was treated and later released from ECMC.

(WIVB) — An Angola man has pleaded guilty to a manslaughter charge in connection with a fatal crash that took the life of a Hamburg woman in February, the Erie County District Attorney's Office said Monday.Anthony Rydzewski, 41, pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree manslaughter.
