Schroeder earned a one-year term as village trustee by beating David Santoro 374-362 in the runoff on Tuesday. A physical recount was conducted on Wednesday and the results were confirmed with no changes.Schroeder and Santoro went to a runoff election after they each finished with 248 votes in the first election on March 19.
