    (CBS) – A woman named Leigh Corfman says that when she was 14 years old in 1979, Roy Moore, the current GOP Senate candidate in Alabama initiated a sexual encounter with her when he was 32 years old, according to The Washington Post.
    Moore approached Corfman, outside a courtroom in Alabama, the report said, while her mother was inside at a child custody hearing and struck up a conversation with her.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 166-count indictment against Dr. Eugene Gosy, 56, was returned by a federal grand jury.
    The new indictment supersedes an indictment handed up in April 2016, adding charges of distributing and dispensing controlled substances, other than for legitimate medical purposes, resulting in the death of six patients.

  • TSA screenings fail to spot weapons most of the time, agency says

    (CBS) — An undercover operation has revealed that Transportation Security Administration screenings at airports fail for the most part.
    Homeland Security investigators found that, more than 70 percent of the time, undercover officers were able to get through TSA checkpoints with mock knives, guns and explosives, the House Homeland Security Committee was told Wednesday.   • Suspect in custody after shelter in place issued for part of Town of Niagara

    TOWN OF NIAGARA, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Niagara County Sheriff’s office issued a shelter in place for the area of Grauer Rd. between Hermitage Rd. and Military Rd. in Town of Niagara due to an “extraordinary threat to life or property.”
    Around 1:20 p.m., News 4 learned that a suspect was taken into custody. No one was hurt.

    TOWN OF SHELDON, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Wyoming County Sheriff’s office says a tractor-trailer rolled over in the Town of Sheldon Tuesday morning.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Crews have started cleaning up following a major water main break on Delaware Ave. near the S-curves.
    The road was under water Thursday morning after the incident. A member of the Buffalo Water Department told News 4 the water main break was 20 inches.
    The flooding left behind dirt and rocks.

    A driverless shuttle bus was involved in a minor crash with a semi-truck less than two hours after it made its debut on Las Vegas streets Wednesday in front of cameras and celebrities.

    (CNN) – Fans of Nutella are going absolutely nuts after the brand changed its recipe.
    Nutella said in a post on its German Facebook page on Tuesday that it was “fine tuning” its recipe. It said the addition of more powdered milk increased the spread’s sugar content.

    (CBS NEWS) – A UPS driver was delivering packages in Clackamas, Oregon, on Monday when he heard what sounded like a woman screaming inside a residence.
