    RIPLEY, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Chautauqua County man has been charged with burglary, unlawful imprisonment, and forcible touching, among other charges.
    Skyler Miller, 31, of Maple Avenue, was charged Wednesday with criminal obstruction of breathing, second degree harassment, second degree burglary, second degree unlawful imprisonment, and forcible touching of another’s sexual/intimate parts.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) –  Ten speed humps have been temporarily placed on five targeted roadways in Buffalo neighborhoods, part of a traffic safety initiative by the city Dept. of Public Works and Buffalo Police.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Tonawanda woman has pleaded guilty to stealing over $18,000 from a Tonawanda Elementary School while she was serving as PTA treasurer there.
    Jennifer Seyfang, 38, of Tonawanda, pleaded guilty to fourth degree grand larceny and attempted fourth degree grand larceny in Erie County Court.
    Seyfang admitted to stealing $18,234.82 from the Charles A. Lindbergh Elementary School in the Town of Tonawanda while she served as treasurer of the PTA, from July 1. 2016 to Sept.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Three people were injured in a vehicle accident at E. Amherst St. and Bailey Ave.
    Two vehicles were involved, and one of them caught fire. Out of the three people who were injured, the driver of the burning car was hurt the most, according to a witness.

    New York State Police say Christ Reynolds, 34, has not arrived for some appointments since Monday.

    ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Officials say a 48-year-old woman has admitted to passing herself off as a lawyer while bilking hundreds of New York prison inmates out of more than $20,000.
    The state Attorney General’s Office says Antonia Barrone pleaded guilty to a scheme to defraud and will serve 16 months to 3 years in state prison. She has also been ordered to pay nearly $270,000 in restitution and fines.

    LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Medina man was accused of driving drunk when a hit-and-run accident occurred in Lockport.
    This past Friday, a hit-and-run accident was reported on Dysinger Rd.
    Shortly after that, a suspect, identified as Keith Jones, 62, was found at Beattie and Willow avenues.

    WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WIVB) — The SPCA Serving Erie County had a busy Summer, and one of the many things that kept them busy was a rabbit that got stuck in a pool filter.
    The cottontail rabbit became stuck this past Summer.

    BAUDETTE, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Department of Transportation is giving away half of a bridge that spans the Rainy River between Baudette and Canada.
    The other half belongs to Canada. The steel bridge was built in 1960 and is being replaced.
