  • 2 dead, 1 injured in I-390 crash

    HENRIETTA, N.Y. (WROC-TV) – Two people were killed and a New York State trooper was seriously injured in an accident on I-390 North at Hylan Drive in Henrietta Monday morning.
    State Police say a southbound vehicle, for an unknown reason, drove through the median and struck a northbound vehicle around 8:45 a.m.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A 25-year-old Buffalo man was killed in a shooting incident in the first block of Thatcher Avenue near Kensington Avenue on Monday.
    The incident occurred at about 2:50 p.m. Monday.
    Authorities say the male was declared deceased at the scnee.

    CORONA, CA (AP) — A California clothing company has been hit with lawsuits claiming it recruited women to sell its goods from home and left thousands of them with unreturnable merchandise.

    WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal court in Washington is barring President Donald Trump from changing the government’s policy on military service by transgender people.
    Trump announced in an August memo that he intended to reverse course on a 2016 policy that allowed troops to serve openly as transgender individuals. He said he would order a return to the policy prior to June 2016, under which service members could be discharged for being transgender.

  • Niagara Falls man charged with Murder after weekend homicide

    NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — Niagara Falls police have identified the victim and the suspected shooter in a weekend homicide.
    On Saturday, Marlowe Smith, 36, was fatally shot on 19th St. around 3 a.m.
    He was found dead inside a home.
    The suspect, Jamell Parker, 26, fled the area, but was seen a short time later, according to police. He was arrested following a foot chase into an alley off of Pine Ave.
    Parker has been charged with Murder and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
  • Officials: Suspect steals ambulance as it arrives at hospital

    MOBILE, Ala. (WIVB) — A bizarre situation unfolded in Alabama.
    As first responders were rushing a patient to a hospital, police in Mobile were responding to reports of an active shooter at the hospital as the ambulance arrived.
    The suspect then stole the ambulance and took off.
    Police chased the 34-year-old down and arrested him.
    No shots were fired and no one was injured.

    These are mainly part-time positions. The online retailer’s hiring event is Monday at the Holiday Inn on Genesee St. near the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- A church community celebrated 110 years in Buffalo’s Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood on Sunday.
    The Corpus Christi church building began with the laying of the cornerstone in 1907. Since then, the church has served parishioners with services in English and Polish.
