    TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) – Tonawanda City Police are looking for a suspect who attempted to rob the Tops store at 150 Niagara Street.
    According to police, the suspect pictured demanded that an employee open the register. He fled when he was rebuffed.
    The individual is described as a white male, 6′ tall, with blue eyes and a light beard, wearing a sweatshirt that included the phrase “New York”.

    TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) – Town of Tonawanda Police responded to a call of “suspicious persons” in the area of Willowgrove Court and Ellicott Creek Road on Thursday.

  • Pendleton man faces more sex abuse charges

    PENDLETON, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Pendleton man who was arrested last year for sexual abuse has been arrested on more sexual abuse charges, involving multiple victims.
    Chrisptopher M. Wright, 45, was arrested last Friday and charged with first degree sexual abuse, two counts of second degree criminal sex act, and six counts of second degree sexual abuse.
    He was arraigned in Town of Pendleton Court and bail was set at $200,000/$400,000.

  • Man charged with LSD possession during traffic stop

    TOWN OF CONCORD, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Little Valley man has been charged with possessing LSD.
    On Thursday, an Erie County Sheriff’s deputy pulled Jeremy Bordini, 21, over on Route 219 around 12:30 a.m.
    When deputies were investigating, they say they found 29 LSD tabs on a piece of cardboard.
    They say Bordini’s passenger, Ellicottville resident Carl Herman, 22, had two bags and a package of marijuana in his possession.
