    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — On Thursday morning, Leron Bailey, 36, was arraigned on a multi-count indictment related to a 2013 homicide.
    Diamond Toler was 19 when she was fatally shot at Stevens Ave. and E. Ferry St. The shooting happened in June of that year.

    ALASKA (WIVB) — Cell phone video out of Alaska captured part of what a man says is a wild encounter with a killer whale.
    Victor Littlefield was salmon fishing when the orca wrapped itself in the boat’s anchor line before yanking it away.
    He also says it rammed and slapped the side of the boat with its tail before finally swimming off.
    Littlefield notified federal fishery experts, who say such attacks are extremely rare.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two prominent New York law partners are back in court, but Thursday, Ross Cellino and Stephen Barnes will be on opposite sides.

    CUPERTINO, Calif. (WIVB) — Apple is teaming with Cochlear to launch the first hearing implant made for an iPhone.
    The FDA has approved Cochlear’s Nucleus 7 sound processor, which can stream sound directly from a compatible iPhone or iPad to a patient’s surgically embedded sound processor.
    The device also allows customers with the implant to control and customize sounds directly from their devices.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- ECMC is spending millions of dollars to recover from a ransomware attack. International hackers locked up the hospital’s computer system in April and demanded $30,000.
