  • Young child struck by car on Ridge Road

    LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB)- Crews are on the scene of a serious accident involving a child.
    A vehicle traveling on Ridge Road struck a young child around 12:30 p.m.Sunday afternoon.
    Mercy Flight took the child to Women and Children’s Hospital. Niagara County Sheriff James Voutour tells News 4 that the child’s injuries are “very serious”.

    LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB)- An accident on Ridge Road sent a 4 year-old girl to the hospital Sunday afternoon.
    A vehicle traveling eastbound on Ridge Road struck the child around 12:30 p.m. between Ewings Road and Ridge Lea Drive.

    NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — A fatal crash involving a high performance go-kart is under investigation in Niagara Falls.
    Police say they were called to the 1900 block of Buffalo Ave., around 2:45 p.m. Saturday for crash involving a go-kart and car.
    Police say a 34-year-old Niagara Falls man was driving the go-kart on the road after having new equipment installed on it at a nearby auto shop.
