    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)-  Buffalo Police are investigating a hit-and-run that occurred in a parking lot Saturday afternoon.
    Accident investigators say a female driver was backing out of a parking spot in a lot on Main Street when she struck a male.
    Investigators say the 46 year-old Buffalo male was taken to ECMC with serious injuries.
    Police recovered the unoccupied vehicle a short time later and are currently attempting to locate the female driver.

    AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB)- Amherst Police are looking for a person of interest regarding the use of a stolen credit card.
    Police say the card and a backpack were stolen from a vehicle parked at a Maple Road fitness center. The credit card was then used a short time after at a convenience store in Buffalo.

  • Hamburg homeowner heartbroken after home is crushed by tornado

    HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) — Tree removal crews spent all day Thursday cleaning up the damage an EF2 tornado left behind in Hamburg. Homeowners were also picking up the pieces in their neighborhoods.
    On Marie Drive in Hamburg the damage was extensive.
    Raymond Dziedzic recounted the frightening moments before the tornado touched down in his backyard.
