    FORT DRUM, N.Y. (WIVB) — Funeral arrangements for the New York State Trooper who was fatally shot have been announced.
    Trooper Joel Davis, 36, was killed in the Town of Theresa on Sunday night. The man suspected of shooting him is 32-year-old Army Staff Sgt. Justin Walters.

    SOMERSET, N.Y. (WIVB) — Another earthquake occurred this month, this time on Lake Ontario.
    The 2.5 magnitude earthquake occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday. It was just over six miles north of Somerset in Niagara County.

    CINCINNATI, OHIO (WIVB) – A Buffalo Bills defensive lineman has been arrested in his home state of Ohio on weapons charges.
    Adolphus Washington, 24, was arrested Sunday outside of a waterpark in Sharonville, Ohio, around 10 p.m on a concealed weapon charge. Sharonville is outside of Cincinnati.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The owner of a Buffalo daycare has pleaded guilty to theft of government funds after she was charged with submitting hundreds of fraudulent claims to Erie County seeking reimbursement for daycare services.
    Halima Mohamed, 35, of Buffalo, faces up to ten years in prison and a $250,000 fine when she is sentenced Nov. 1.
