• Motorcyclist dies after crash in Varysburg Sunday afternoon

  VARYSBURG, N.Y. (WIVB)- A motorcyclist was killed Sunday afternoon on Rt. 20A.
  State police say two motorcycles, each traveling with a rider and passenger, were eastbound on 20A when a westbound vehicle crossed the center line. The vehicle struck both motorcycles.
  All four people on the motorcycles were taken to area hospitals via ambulance and Mercy Flight. One died at the hospital and the conditions of the others are unknown at this time.

• Buffalo motorcyclist injured in Tonawanda accident

  CITY OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB)- A 35 year-old motorcyclist is recovering after being struck by a vehicle Saturday afternoon.
  Police say Christian Granata of Buffalo was traveling northbound on Twin City Highway on his Kawasaki when Suzannke Hartman ran a red light striking him.
  Granata suffered a shoulder and ankle injury and was taken to ECMC. Hartman was issued a summons.

  BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — People living near a house that caught on fire overnight thought there were people running out of the home, but there were no reports of injury.
  The house on Lakeview Avenue near Front Park caught on fire around midnight Sunday morning. It spread to a garage and a cottage.
  A second alarm was sounded after crews at the scene were told by neighbors, there were explosions and might be a meth lab inside.

• Five bikes stolen from family’s backyard on the west side

  BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)— A west side family is on the lookout to find their children’s bikes. They say five of their bikes were stolen from their back yard on Hoyt street earlier this week.
  Bike thefts in Buffalo have become more common over the years. In 2016 officials say nearly 450 bikes were reported stolen.
