    Cosby’s retrial on sex assault charges is set for November
    NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Bill Cosby’s retrial on charges he drugged and molested a woman more than a decade ago is set for November.
    An order signed Thursday by Judge Steven O’Neill says all parties must report to the Montgomery County Courthouse in Norristown, Pennsylvania, on Nov. 6.
    Prosecutors found themselves back to square one June 17 after the judge declared a mistrial. The jury failed to reach a verdict in more than 52 hours of deliberations over six days.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Up to a $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for a Buffalo homicide.
    Calvin Williams, pictured, was shot and killed June 12 at 138 Pries Ave. in Buffalo. He was 25.

    According to police reports, Michael McCurry, 58, of Dexter Street, Tonawanda, was loading metal shelving into a trailer of his pickup truck behind the Leisure Living warehouse at 574 Main Street when he was caught by police. McCurry attempted to leave the business and was blocked in by officers.

    New York State Police say Ward resident Raymond Cornelius, 82, was found dead in his Wadsworth Hill Rd. home on the morning of July 3.

    Chautauqua County man rescued after canoe capsized
    CASSADAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Chautauqua County man was rescued from Cassadaga Creek on Wednesday afternoon.
    After Cassadaga resident Raymond Jordan Jr., 66, had not been heard from since 3 p.m. that day, crews from Cassadaga Fire and Chautauqua County Emergency Services went to the scene.

    Wende CO recovering after assault by inmate
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- A Wende Correctional officer suffered a severe concussion after being struck in the head with a hospital monitor by an inmate, according to NYSCOPBA spokesperson Joe Miano.
    The alleged assault occurred June 25 around 6:30 p.m. at ECMC.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Garnell Whitfield first got the call to serve the community he grew up in, back in 1984. He started as a front-line firefighter and worked his way up to commissioner of the department.
