    LANCASTER, N.Y. (WIVB) – A 32-year-old man from Quebec has been charged in connection with last week’s fatal hit and run in Lancaster.
    Sebastien Y. Lavertu, 32, of Danville, Quebec, has been charged with leaving the scene of an incident resulting in death.

    The 36-year-old was shot in the face while on duty in Rochester over the weekend.

    CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) – A 51-year-old Clarence woman accused of hosting approximately 20 juveniles at her home while they allegedly consumed alcohol is also a daycare provider, according to state records.
    Tracy Cicero is listed as the on-site provider for Tracy’s Tots on Palmdale Drive in Williamsville.
    She was arrested by Erie County Sheriff’s deputies Saturday night at her Coyote Court home.

    William Fichtner, known for acting in movies such as The Dark Knight and Black Hawk Down, will be at the Buffalo History Museum on Tuesday for a briefing on his new movie.
    Principal photography for the movie, Cold Brook, will start in the Buffalo area this Wednesday.
    This movie will be Fichtner’s directorial debut.

    ELLERY, N.Y. (WIVB) — Officials pulled three men from Chautauqua Lake after their boat overturned on Sunday.

    WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court is letting the Trump administration enforce its 90-day ban on travelers from six mostly Muslim countries, overturning lower court orders that blocked it.
    The action Monday is a victory for President Donald Trump in the biggest legal controversy of his young presidency.
    Trump said last week that the ban would take effect 72 hours being cleared by courts.
    The justices will hear arguments in the case in the fall.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Residents of an Elmwood Avenue apartment building have been allowed back into their homes after an early morning fire that left behind hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage.
