    7-year-old attacked by Rottweilers in Niagara Falls is improving
    NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) – Kaden Mitchell, the seven-year-old boy who was attacked by two Rottweilers in Niagara Falls a few weeks ago, is improving.
    Mitchell’s grandfather sent us a picture of him enjoying some chicken wings.
    Mitchell suffered a stroke a few days after the incident. The two Rottweilers involved were euthanized.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Uber and Lyft have both reached separate agreements with the NFTA to bring ridesharing services to the Buffalo and Niagara Falls airports.
    Under the NFTA’s agreement with Uber, Uber will pay a $180,000 flat fee to the NFTA for a one-year pilot program. This will allow Uber to both pick up and drop off at the airports within established geo-fence boundaries.     DUBLIN, IRELAND (WIVB) – An Irish meteorologist was literally blown away by the weather as he gave a live TV report.
    Deric Hartigan, who works for station TV3, was blown out of the camera’s shot when a particularly strong gust took his umbrella, and Hartigan along with it.
    The weatherman made it back on camera after a few seconds, broken umbrella in tow.
    Hartigan called the on-air mishap “a highlight of his career”.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A 24-year-old man has been sentenced for selling cocaine and fentanyl.
    Phillip Jackson, 24, of Buffalo, was sentenced to three years in prison and two years post-release supervision for third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and violating the terms of his probation. He pleaded guilty to the charges in May.

    NFTA Police are investigating armed robbery on UB South Campus
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority Transit Police are investigating an attempted robbery Thursday night at the University Station on South Campus.
    According to NFTA Police, two victims were approached by three suspects at approximately 9:30 p.m. who attempted to steal personal items from them. The suspects shoved the victims and then fled the area.
