    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Buffalo Police responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of Rhode Island Street and Lowell Street in Buffalo around 3 p.m. Monday.
    Frank Sedita Academy (PS 30) went into lockdown around 3:30 p.m. The lockdown was lifted after 4 p.m.

    Sources say that one of the vehicles lost a tire, and the other vehicle swerved to miss it.
    The driver of the camper was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. Sources say that first responders wanted the male driver to be checked out due to the severity of the incident.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A 16-year-old Buffalo boy has pleaded guilty to forcibly sexually assaulting a teenage girl.
    Ibrahim McBryde, 16, of Stanislaus Street in Buffalo, pleaded guilty to two counts of first degree criminal sex act.
    McBryde abducted the victim from her home, threatening her with a knife and several guns. He forced her into a vacant house on Lathrop Street, where he held her captive and sexually assaulted her for several hours, according to a report from the Erie County DA&

    Fawn okay after being struck by vehicle in Lancaster
    LANCASTER, N.Y. (WIVB) – A fawn was reunited with its mother Friday after being struck by a vehicle on Central Avenue.
    Witnesses at the scene said that the driver left after striking the baby deer. A Lancaster Police officer responded to the scene and determined that the fawn was not seriously injured, and its mother was nearby.

    NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Niagara Falls City Council member pleaded guilty to Driving While Intoxicated.
    Charges came against Ezra Scott after police say he crashed his vehicle on the 300 block of Hyde Park Boulevard on March 11.

    PARIS (AP) — A man on the radar of French authorities was killed Monday after ramming a car carrying explosives into a police vehicle in the capital’s Champs-Elysees shopping district, prompting a fiery blast, officials said. France’s anti-terrorism prosecutor opened an investigation.

    Scott Schaefer waived his right to a felony hearing during a brief court appearance in Amherst Town Court, sending the case to an Erie County Grand Jury to consider whether to hand up an indictment against him.
