    The fire has been extinguished.

While investigating the incident, the driver, Daniel Pfaffenbach, 36, of South Dayton, was found to have a revoked driver’s license and an outstanding warrant from the City of Dunkirk.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Three Erie County women have been charged Tuesday with fraudulently receiving more than $107,000 in SNAP and Medicaid benefits while they worked as aides for an elderly West Seneca woman.
    The women were all acquaintances since childhood, according to a statement from the office of New York State Acting Welfare Inspector General.

    Victim in fatal rollover crash at Buffalo airport identified
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Buffalo NFTA has released the name of the victim in a fatal rollover accident late last Wednesday night at the Buffalo Airport.
    Daisy Josiah, 53, from Maplewood, Minn. was killed in the crash after the pickup truck she was riding in crashed and flipped.
    There were four other people in the vehicle, all residents of Minnesota, except for the driver, a 45-year-old from Buffalo.

    Body found in Lake Ontario
    TOWN OF PORTER, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Niagara County Sheriff’s office says a body was found in Lake Ontario Tuesday morning.
    A fisherman reported seeing the body shortly before 10:30 a.m. It was seen roughly a mile off of Youngstown.
    The United States Coast Guard was able to secure the body and bring it to their Youngstown station.
    It is not clear whose body it was, as authorities only identified them as a male.
    The Sheriff’s office is investigating the person’s death.

    Dairy plant in Batavia may reopen after 2015 closure
    BATAVIA, N.Y. (WIVB) — A dairy plant that shut down after business turned sour could soon reopen.
    The Genesee County Economic Development Corporation (GCEDC) has talked about a plan to fix up the Mueller Quaker plant in Batavia.
    170 people lost their jobs when the $200 million plant closed in 2015, but a new company wants to reopen the plant and bring 230 new jobs to Batavia.
    It is not clear how soon that may happen.

    MEDINA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Medina Central School District was briefly on lockout Tuesday morning as police looked for a warrant suspect in the area.
