    LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Niagara County Department of Health is warning residents not to touch wild raccoons after an individual reportedly brought a baby raccoon into a West Avenue bar.
    Last Friday, someone brought a baby raccoon into Mr. Quiggleys Saloon at 635 West Ave. Several people are reported to have touched or handled the animal.

    The truck became caught on the curb against a bus shelter.

    ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — The New York Legislature has overturned a state law that allows 14-year-olds to legally wed.
    The Democratic-led Assembly passed a bill Thursday that would increase the age of marriage to 17. The Republican-led Senate passed the measure earlier this week.

    CITY OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police and fire crews responded to a boat fire on the Niagara River Wednesday night.
    The boat appeared to be fully engulfed in flames near the shore at Niawanda Park. Police say two people were on the boat when the fire started and both made it off safely.
