• Deadly motorcycle crash in Royalton

  ROYALTON, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Niagara County Sheriff’s office says the driver of a motorcycle died in a crash Monday evening.
  It happened just before 5 p.m. on Royalton Center Road.
  Authorities said the motorcycle hit another vehicle that was turning into a driveway. Sheriff’s deputy said the motorcycle driver died on impact. They have not released their name.

  ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) – New York college students can apply for the state’s free tuition plan beginning June 7.
  Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation Board of Trustees approved Excelsior Scholarship regulations last week.
  The initiative was a key priority for Cuomo. It covers tuition at state universities for full-time, in-state students whose families earn $125,000 or less.

  SCIO, N.Y. (WIVB) — An Allegany County man has been charged with manslaughter and DWI following a collision in the Town of Scio.
  Around 12:30 a.m. on Monday, New York State Troopers went to Route 18 in the town after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.

  JUPITER, Fla. (WIVB) — After being arrested on a DUI charge, golfer Tiger Woods was released from jail.
  Police in Jupiter, Florida say Woods was pulled over around 3 a.m. Monday.
  Hours later, he was booked at the Palm Beach County Jail. Jail records say Woods was released shortly before 11 a.m.

  ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) — Orchard Park police say a man who works at a pizza place told his boss there was a bomb in the building.

  TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police in the City of Tonawanda say a Buffalo woman stole the wallet of a man she met at a bar Saturday night.
  Serina Wolfe, 22, was charged after police say the man she met walked out of the Main St. bar and noticed his wallet was gone.
  Officers were able to find Wolfe a few blocks away. According to police, she had more than $500 in her underwear.

  The lawnmowers, which were sold at Lowe’s stores between 2014 and 2016, pose a fire hazard.
