    ALBION, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two Orleans County Sheriff’s deputies have been charged with grand larceny and falsifying business records.
    Sgt. Dean Covis and Deputy Thomas Marano were arrested following an investigation by the New York State Police.

    EDEN, N.Y. (WIVB) — Wayne Kozak, 48, who was accused of fatally shooting his mother, was indicted on a charge of second-degree murder.
    79-year-old Mary Louise Kozak was found dead in their Eden home on April 20.
    Her son was later found that night in an Erie, Pennsylvania motel after a judge issued a warrant for his arrest.

    TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two elderly women were involved in an accident that happened Tuesday evening around 9:30pm.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo police have released the name of a man who was killed in a Friday evening shooting.
    City resident Steven Barton, 23, was shot around 6:45 p.m. on the 100 block of Stevens Ave. He was pronounced dead at ECMC.
