    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Thomas Moore, the man in a wheelchair accused of molesting a nursing home resident, was ruled not competent to stand trial.
    A forensic mental health evaluation had been ordered for Moore, 62, after authorities accused him of sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a disabled person.
    Officials say the abuse happened at Waterfront Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Buffalo in January.

    Wyoming County man accused of sexual abuse, child endangerment
    SILVER SPRINGS, N.Y. (WIVB) — Following an investigation involving a child younger than 11, a Wyoming County man was arrested.
    Silver Springs resident James Dell Jr., 26, was charged with sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. The Wyoming County Sheriff’s office says the charges stem from a February 2016 incident in the Town of Gainesville.
    Dell was jailed on $5,000 bail following his arraignment. An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.

    WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WIVB) — A June rally has been planned for Joseph Acquino, the Buffalo police officer shot in the head on Sunday evening.
    Acquino, who survived, was hospitalized following the incident.
    On Sunday, Jose Hernandez-Rossy, 26, was pulled over by police. During that time, a struggle ensued that resulted in Acquino’s ear being shot off.
