    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A social media post lead to the arrest of an Erie County probationer.
    According to the Erie County Probation Division, probation officers conducted a search of a home at 166 Bickford Ave. in Buffalo after a probationer had made a post on social media with a gun.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Five weeks after Macy Alexander-Childs was born, her parents got devastating news. She had developed bands which were cutting off circulation to her small intestine.
    A doctor removed 90 percent of her small intestine. Her parents decided to put her on the transplant list.

    ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) – A West Seneca woman is facing charges after Orchard Park Police say $430 in stolen property was found in her trunk and the shopping cart she was using.

    City to hold public hearing on $500 million 2017-2018 budget
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The city of Buffalo has rolled out a nearly $500 million budget for 2017-2018, a 1.1 percent spending increase over 2017-2018, or an additional $5.7 million.
    Residential tax rates will remain the same, and commercial property tax rates will be reduced by 1 percent.

    On Tuesday, the Bills announced they have declined to pick up the fifth-year option on Watkins’ rookie year contract.     BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The NHL Scouting Combine will remain in Buffalo through 2019, the Buffalo Sabres and the NHL announced on Tuesday.

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC-TV) – A state of emergency has been declared due to flooding along the Lake Ontario shoreline.

    67 arrested during weekend of parties in Fredonia
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — It’s not called Fred Fest anymore, but this weekend in Fredonia, many people partied, and a number of arrests were made.
    In all, Fredonia police say 67 people were arrested between April 26-30. Most of the people arrested were between the ages of 18 and 22.
    Of the 323 incidents, police say many of them involved suspicious or disorderly people, vehicle laws or open containers.

    CHERRY CREEK, N.Y. (WIVB) — It is not clear what caused a fire that destroyed a restaurant in Chautauqua County Monday afternoon.
    Around 5:30 p.m., several crews rushed to Trillium Lodge on Main St. in Cherry Creek.

    EAST AURORA, N,Y. (WIVB) – Up to $1,00 has been offered as a reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in a credit card skimming case.
