    BUFFALO,  N.Y. (WIVB) – A flood warning has been issued for Western New York through 10 p.m. Monday.
    The National Weather Service Buffalo issued the warning for urban areas and small streams in the following areas:

      Niagara County in western New York…

    McKEAN COUNTY, P.A. (WIVB) – A tornado watch has been issued for southeastern McKean County through 4:45 p.m. Monday.
    UPDATE: A large and extremely dangerous tornado was located near Betula, PA, moving east at 60 mph.
    People in McKean County are asked to take cover as flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damage or destroyed and damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

    Man missing from Williamsville facility found
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man suffering from cognitive disorders was found safe.
    Paul Cieslak, 63, went missing from Williamsville Suburban Residential Health Care Facility on Thursday night. He was last seen around 6:42 p.m. walking north after being dropped off at the facility.
    Staff at the facility say he was not there when they conducted their 10 p.m. rounds.

    DALLAS (AP) — Authorities say a Dallas paramedic is in critical condition after being shot while responding to a shooting, and that the scene remains active and dangerous.
    The city released a statement saying officers were responding to a shooting around 11:30 a.m. Monday when a Dallas Fire-Rescue EMT Unit was struck. Dallas police say the paramedic is hospitalized in critical condition.

    5 hospitalized in Elma crash
    ELMA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Five people were hospitalized following a vehicle crash in Elma Sunday night.
    Around 7:20 p.m., the Erie County Sheriff’s office says the crash happened at the intersection of Milestrip and Willardshire roads in the town.
    A 17-year-old heading east on Milestrip collided with a 58-year-old woman going north on Willardshire, deputies say.
    Officials say that early indicators show that one person failed to stop for a stop sign.

    Dashcam video shows the Jeep passing several cars to get into the exit lane, when it clipped a red car in front of it and started to flip.
    Witnesses say the passenger was pulled out by strangers who stopped to help.

    NEW YORK (WIVB) — The name of April the giraffe’s baby has been announced as Tajiri.
    On Monday, Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville announced the name of the baby, who was born on April 15.
    Two zookeepers chose the name Tajiri, which is Swahili for hope and confidence, according to CBS sources in New York.
    The baby’s birth was streamed live on YouTube as at least 1.2 million people viewed it.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- News 4 has been following the progress of a school being built in the African country of Tanzania. A Buffalo non-profit is helping a group of nuns educate girls in the remote village of Kitenga.
    Girls Education Collaborative and its partners opened the school in January. The first class consists of 59 girls but the non-profit hopes to educate 120 additional girls every year. The goal is to have 1,500 girls enrolled at the school.
