    NY lawmakers: Compel Trump to release state tax returns
    ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — New York would release the state tax returns for Donald Trump and other New Yorkers holding high office under legislation crafted by Democratic lawmakers.
    The measure introduced Wednesday doesn’t mention Trump by name, but it comes after the New York City Republican refused to release his tax returns during his successful run for the presidency last year.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A 24-year-old Buffalo woman has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess heroin with intent to distribute.
    Kristen Boncore is one of 14 defendants to be indicted in a heroin trafficking ring investigation, which utilized court-ordered wiretaps as well as undercover purchases. She is the first to be convicted.

    EDEN, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Eden man accused of killing his 79-year-old mother has pleaded not guilty to second degree murder charges.
    Wayne Kozak, 48, was in Eden Town Court Wednesday. He is charged with killing his mother,  Mary Louise Kozak, after she was found dead in the Eden home they shared last Thursday.

    BUFFALO (WIVB) – Buffalo Firefighters are trying to figure out what caused a fire at a sandwich shop in Downtown Buffalo Wednesday.
