    Suspect in News 4 crew assault pleads guilty
    NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) – A 27-year-old Niagara Falls man pleaded guilty to attacking two News 4 crew members in Niagara Falls in Oct. 2016.
    Evan Stafford pleaded guilty to second-degree attempted robbery, a D Felony, in Niagara County Court Thursday.
    He could be facing up to seven years in prison for the charge.
    Stafford attacked a News 4 reporter and photographer last fall as they filmed a segment on “Art Alley”, a public art project sponsored by the City of Niagara Falls.

    AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) – Long-term lane closures on a portion of the I-990 are expected to begin Monday April 24.
    The lane closures are part of the I-990 pavement rehabilitation project which began last month.

    TOWN OF ELMA, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Erie County Sheriff’s office says Buffalo Bills lineman Cyrus Kouandjio was found in an Elma field with no pants on.
    A call came in to the Sheriff’s office shortly before 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

    Suspect charged with murder following Buffalo stabbing
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo police say they have made an arrest in relation to a fatal stabbing.
    Justin Johnson died on April 17 after being stabbed on N. Division St. days earlier.
    The same day Johnson died, a suspect, Buffalo resident Hillard Smith, was arrested.
    Charges against Smith were upgraded to murder after Johnson died.
