    Spectrum to fill 30 new jobs at career fair
    CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) – Spectrum (Charter Communications) will host a job fair Saturday to fill 30 new customer service positions.
    The fair will be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Spectrum’s Appletree Business Park location, 2875 Union Road, Cheektowaga, New York, 14227.The new opportunities offer competitive compensation and an extensive benefits package, a press release from Spectrum said.
    Guests are asked to use the building’s visitor entrance, near National Fuel.

    EAST OTTO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Cattaraugus County man has been charged with manslaughter following a vehicle crash from January.
    Andrew Armbruster, 30, was driving in East Otto on Jan. 26 when he crashed into a tractor trailer at the intersection of Bowen and E. Otto Springville roads.

    ERIE, Pa. (WIVB) — Pennsylvania State Police say that Steve Stephens has committed suicide following a brief pursuit in Erie County, Pennsylvania.
    On Sunday, Stephens posted a video on Facebook that showed him fatally shoot 74-year-old Robert Godwin Sr.

    There have been at least six shootings in the past 11 days. Two men have been killed by the violence.
    Homicide detectives were called to Dodge Street late Saturday night after 44 year old Lonnie Anthony, from Cheektowaga, was killed while sitting in a car. It happened on the 100 block, according to police.
