    Police investigating fire and shooting on Wilkes Avenue
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Buffalo police are investigating an overnight shooting that occurred in the 100 block of Wilkes Avenue around 4:15 a.m.
    Upon arrival Detectives discovered some type of fire starting agent was thrown at or inside the home. When the individuals came out of the house one of them was struck by gunfire.
    The 30 year-old Cheektowaga man was taken to ECMC where he was treated and released.

    Saturday morning car crash shuts down portion of metro rail
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- A portion of the metro rail was closed for a little over an hour Saturday morning following an accident.
    A single car accident at Main and Court was the cause of the shutdown. NFTA Spokesperson Doug Hartmayer tells News 4 that the metro rail was in no way involved with the crash.
    NFTA Police have not released the name of the driver or any charges filed.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- A portion of the metro rail was closed for a little over an hour Saturday morning following an accident.
    A single car accident at Main and Court was the cause of the shutdown. NFTA Spokesperson Doug Hartmayer tells News 4 that the metro rail was in no way involved with the crash.
    Hartmayer told News 4 the driver of the vehicle stole the car from 55 Florida St. in Buffalo.
    Johnniemae Walker, 26, has been arrested for the crash.
