    NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Niagara Falls City Council member who is facing a misdemeanor DWI charge after a weekend crash was scheduled to be arraigned in city court Monday morning. Ezra Scott’s arraignment didn’t happen, though, and his case has been put on hold.

    Person arrested in connection to weekend apartment fire
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo fire investigators have arrested someone in connection with Saturday’s massive apartment fire on Lafayette Avenue.
    News 4 is working to find out more about who the suspect is and how investigators believe the fire was started.
    The 3-alarm fire displaced 90 residents of the building at 117 Lafayette Avenue, near Herkimer Street. The fire caused 1.5 million dollars in damage to the structure and $450,000 damage to the contents. No one was hurt.

    Police say 36-year-old Jesse Dominkiewicz harassed the workers on Hillside Drive just after noon Sunday. A few hours later, he went back, grabbed the worker, and threatened a neighbor, according to police.

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has ordered an investigation into another bomb threat against the Jewish Community Center in Rochester.
    The center was closed and evacuated Sunday morning while authorities cleared it. It was to reopen at 3 p.m.
    Police say about 300 people were inside the Jewish Community Center of Greater Rochester when the emailed threat was received.

    HENRIETTA, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say a fire has killed two people in a suburban Rochester home that still was without power because of last week’s windstorm.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Adam Batz scored the third of Williamsville North’s three goals, proving to be the difference in a 3-2 win over Pittsford at HarborCenter on Sunday, giving the Spartans a D-1 state championship.
    Andrew Bruno and Brett Sardina also scored for the Spartans, who fell behind 1-0 in the first period before scoring twice to end the initial frame.
    It is the Spartans’ first NYSPHSAA D-1 championship since 2011.
