    DARIEN, N.Y. (WIVB) — Several fire companies answered the call when a barn caught on fire Saturday night.
    The fire started in a barn off Simonds Road.The owners of a barn called for help after discovering the fire.

    Niagara Falls City council member arrested for DWI
    NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Niagara Falls City councilman was arrested Saturday morning for suspected drunk driving.
    Niagara falls police have confirmed to News 4 Ezra Scott was arrested for DWI around 5:30 a.m. near Hyde Park Blvd. and Church. This is not far from Royal Ave. in Niagara Falls.
    Ezra was appointed to the council in 2015 and then elected in early 2016.

    Hundreds walk, race and climb to find cure for Lung Disease
    More than 750 people walked, raced and climbed to raise awareness for lung disease Saturday.
    Participants and first responders took on 24 flights of stairs, or 470 steps, for the annual Fight for Air Climb.
    This year’s event, sponsored by the American Lung Association, was held at Main Place Tower in Buffalo, for the first time.
    The event aimed to raise $175,000 for lung disease research, advocacy and education.

    Two homes dedicated to families in Buffalo
    Two buffalo families have a new place to call home, with the help of a group of local volunteers.
    Habitat for Humanity Buffalo dedicated two homes, both on Wende Street, to two separate families Saturday.
    The 291st home was dedicated to the Micheal Family and was built with dozens of volunteers contributing over 7,000 construction hours.
